El Rayo is a new tequila brand which I was luckily enough to freelance with after reaching out to them directly. I have been deeply interested in Mexico since studying its history and cinema at university, and this initial project allowed me to take several assets from concept to final delivery.
The two types of tequila that El Rayo produce follow two distinct colour ways. With this I made mood boards for the client to guide the look and feel of the renders.
The brief outside of presenting the product was to hero El Rayo's signature cocktail, the tequila and tonic, as well as telling the the story of the lightning bolt and the blue agave, tequila's key ingredient.
