Hello.
I'm Ben, a motion designer and animator.
I like working on all sorts of projects; from planning out animation frame-by-frame and creating motion graphics for explainer films, to jumping into Cinema 4D for modelling, texturing and animating. Whatever the tools, I hope to introduce expressionistic and thought-provoking movement into all of my work.
I've worked agency-side for roughly 6 years and during that time I've had several roles. At first, I made a colossal number of gifs for brands' social media pages. Later, I joined our in-house video studio where my day-to-day has mainly consisted of editing and creating graphics for documentary-style films. Here, I also learnt to shoot (Blackmagic Ursa Minis) and assist in lighting and sound setups.
However, my real passion lies in animation and motion design. There are endless ways that motion can change the feeling or character of a film and I'd love to keep on exploring them in future projects.
